Reconciliation Action Plan

Our Reflect Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP)

At Peak are, we acknowledge Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples as the Traditional Owners and Custodians of Country throughout Australia and we pay our respects to elders past, present and emerging.

By implementing our first Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP) we begin our reconciliation journey firstly within our community and within our own backyard, by aspiring to strengthen and create more meaningful relationships with our local Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities in North Queensland.

Our cover design

The dark blue circles and dots in the centre, represents Peak ARE and its workers. The grey areas and the circles represent people & businesses from around our communities that Peak ARE has serviced.

The lines leading in from these communities and the white and grey dots surrounding Peak ARE, show that people are very happy with Peak ARE, services and keep coming back.

The blue part circles (communities) overlapping one another near the centre, represent the many different communities where these people (the white and grey dots) come from.

The white dots on the orange path represent people, and the cross hatching represents communicating, talking, yarning about how good Peak ARE services are.

The white space on the right side of the design, represents beyond. So, as mentioned above, the design all together represents how successful Peak ARE is, around our communities and beyond.
